Prophecy Always In Order.

Cain and Abel

Not as Cain, [who] was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. (1 John 3:12)

Because of false prophets out there many are deceived. Their teachings are supposedly deep understanding of the Bible. Some teach that Cain slew Abel because he was sired by Satan the serpent in Eden. This teaching is known as the serpent seed doctrine.

Cain was of that wicked one: as are serial killers, rapists, liars and thieves, adulterers, fornicators, the proud and arrogant, homosexuals, bigamists, pedophiles, etc. Every sin that can be committed is committed by human beings who are of that wicked one the devil.

Does this mean that every human being that has ever been born is of that wicked one? Yes this is true. Every person ever born is of that wicked one the devil.

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (John 8:34)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

The insanity of the ludicrous serpent seed doctrine: is that Eve had sex with Satan. How awful to teach and believe that the first woman God made chose to have sexual intercourse with that old serpent the dragon. It teaches that some people are the offspring of Satan some of Adam. Adam and Satan with two physical seeds on earth.

Absurd and untrue.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

But 1 John 3:6 is more proof that he (whoever you are) that commits sin is of the devil. So…that would make every human being of the devil. For all have sinned.

44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)

Jesus said this to the Jews. And some try to say this is proof that the Jews are physically sired by Satan. However a few verse down Jesus tells these same Jews:

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.  (John 8:56)

When he told them they were of their father the devil, he did not mean they were sired by Satan physically. Jesus knew that Abraham was their biological father. But their spiritual father was truly the devil because whoever sins is of that wicked one.

Here was her husband Adam whom she loved; and there was a snake. But according to the serpent seed teaching Eve immediately chose the devil (snake) instead of her own husband to have sex with.

It is not even possible to have sex with a snake. No one in their right mind would want to. The serpent seed doctrine says that the snake was really the devil as a man. The Bible does not teach this!

Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us to delve into what is not there. God said that he told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  Leave it there. They disobeyed. Leave it there the way God gave it to us to understand.

Going off into trying to understand what “really happened in Eden” is not the leading of God. It is one’s own imagination to go off to places strictly forbidden by God.

So the serpent seed doctrine goes; that trees are people and fruit is whatever you imagine it to be. More nonsense. Take the Bible as it is written. Trying to find so-called hidden meanings or secrets in scripture is nothing but imagination:

If it causes divisions and offenses, which it does,  it is not revelation; it is not prophecy.

It is simply wild imagination.

Let God be true and every man a liar as says the Scripture.

  1. […] all costs? Are we self-destructing every time we acquire more knowledge? If so does it make sense to take the bible at face value, literally or does looking at it as a great piece of literature filled with symbolism more exact? and most […]

  2. Knowledge of what? You didn’t say…and yes of course it makes sense to take the Bible literally. There is no reason not to since the human race is incapable of understanding the infinite mind of God.
God gave us what we can take in, he did not reveal to us the mysteries of the universe no one could handle that so it is best to simply take him at his word the way he gave it to us.
